The Department of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology at the University of Thessaly announces the launch of a Master’s Program (M.S.) titled “Precision Agriculture Technologies” for the 2021–2022 academic year. The program is governed by the University of Thessaly’s Regulations for Graduate Studies.
The mission of the Master’s Program is to cultivate and promote, through academic and applied teaching and research, high-level education for researchers and professional agricultural technologists in the new technologies used in the primary sector, as well as in new farming practices as defined by Precision Agriculture. To provide its graduates with the necessary skills to ensure they are fully prepared for their academic, scientific, and research careers.
The Master's Program awards a Master's Degree (M.A.) with the title: “Precision Agriculture Technologies,” provided that the graduate student successfully completes all required courses in the program, as well as their thesis, in accordance with the regulations governing graduate studies.
The following graduates are admitted to the Master’s Program as graduate students: a) graduates of Agricultural Departments, b) Polytechnic Departments, c) Departments of Natural Sciences and other departments of Greek universities and equivalent recognized institutions abroad in a related field of study.
