Dr. Ioannis Gravalos holds a (Dipl.-Ing.) in Agricultural Engineering and a PhD in Technology & Mechanization of Agricultural & Forestry Production from the University of Agriculture in Prague. He also holds a master’s degree (MSc) in Biotechnology – Food and Environmental Quality from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly. He is currently a professor at the University of Thessaly. He has taught in undergraduate and graduate programs at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) and the University of Thessaly, in courses related to mechatronics and automation in agriculture. He has published more than 140 papers in prestigious international and Greek scientific journals and conferences. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Agricultural Engineers (EGME) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng).
